We're looking for a Survey Crew Chief to complete our Survey team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a variety of projects, and works well independently.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Adhere to deadlines and project schedule when conducting survey services
• Operate Trimble survey equipment when performing all required surveys
• Lead and mentor junior staff on the basic principles of surveying
• Read plans and produce accurate mathematic and geometric calculations, as needed
• Communicate timely and effectively with office staff
• Provide documentation of time and project outcomes regularly via electronic reporting

Successful candidates will bring;

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of field surveying
• Experience leading a survey crew is highly desired
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
• A willingness to work in rugged terrain environments for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions
• Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings and weekends
