The Thrasher Group Inc.'s Landscape Architecture Department is expanding. We are looking to add a Landscape Architect/ Designer to our Canton, OH based team. As a group, we work on a diverse array of projects including regional planning studies, outdoor recreation, destination tourism, community revitalization, campus planning, and commercial and residential development. In support of our in-house civil engineers and architects we regularly consult on site layout and master planning. Ample opportunities are provided amongst our project portfolio to showcase, grow, and add to the unique talents of the selected candidate. Initially, working alongside project managers, the selected candidate will also develop a project management skillset and further propel their career.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Assisting Project Managers
• Participation in Design Charettes, Stakeholder Meetings, and Public Meetings
• Schematic Design
• Assembly of Plans, Specifications, and Bidding Documents
• Assistance with Construction Administration and Inspection
• Assembly of planning reports for community or regional studies
• Coordination with our in-house Civil Engineers and Architects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with or ability to learn the following programs is required.

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere)
• Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D
• SketchUp
• Arc GIS
• Lumion

Education

• BS or MS degree from an ABET accredited Landscape Architecture program
