Stars Therapy Services is one of the highest paid intervention company in the State of California.

We provide quality in home early intervention , speech therapy , occupational therapy, physical therapy for infants and toddlers 0-3; as well as 3 and over (ABA). We are looking for leaders to join our Therapy / Intervention team.

Areas include: Chula Vista, San Diego, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido

Stars Therapy Service is hiring contractors in pediatric PT to work with our team of SLP's, OTs and Infant Specialist! We are looking for someone who values a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, functional, and family-based approach to therapy.

Flexible schedules and hours are available, with early mornings, mid and late afternoons hours available. We are able to create a schedule for you based on your needs, as we know a lot of PTs are multi-taskers, love working with different populations/settings, or are just looking for something on the side but stable!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrator various assessment tools and assess the the child’s development 

  • Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.

  • Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential.

  • Complies with federal, state and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation. 

  • Must be effective communicator and be dedicated to providing high-quality to care

  • Maintain accurate paperwork documentation and records of client files.

  • Demonstration of a family-centered philosophy, and respect for cultural diversity. 

  • Provides direct educational information to caregivers regarding their child’s development

  • Maintain agreed upon work schedule, be punctual, keep appointments, and use time effectively

  • Complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner and by due date including, but not limited to:

    • monthly schedules;

    • calculate weekly and monthly visits

 

ABILITY TO

  • Speak and write effectively

  • Build strong partnerships with Stars staff, consumers and community service agencies

  • Prepare written reports

  • Ability to develop objectives

  • Use resources efficiently and wisely

  • Willing to commute to various areas in the county

  • Communicate in English and Spanish preferred

  • Comply with both federal and state guidelines within their scope of practice, including all licensing requirements.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A current valid clinical license (Physical Therapy) issued by the State of California required

  • Professional Liability Insurance

  • Early Intervention Experience

  • Home based delivery experience

  • Pediatric experience

 

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • California driver's license

  • Proof of car insurance in employee's name and current address

  • Must be CPR Certified (Adult, child, infant, AED) & First Aid

  • Must maintain professional liability insurance
