Job Description

Shredfast Inc., a premier manufacturer of document collection and shredding vehicles, is looking for a full-time 12V Electrical Technician to join our team at our main production facility in Airway Heights, WA. This person will work under the supervision of the Electrical Department Team Lead, performing installations, repairs and/or replacement of a variety of electrical components used on our vehicles. Attention to detail and a strong ability to focus are key attributes for an Electrical Technician candidate.

Key or Essential Functions

• Responsible for the assembly, installation, and testing of electrical related components
• Follow service guides, schematics and manufacturer specifications.
• Repair or replace defective components
• Reassemble and test equipment after equipment repairs are completed

Qualifications

• Must be able to correctly identify color-coded components
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of various electrical connectors
• Basic Hydraulic knowledge a plus but not required
• Basic Pneumatic knowledge a plus but not required
• Previous experience with car stereo/security installations a plus
• A general understanding of mobile electronics required
• Read a tape measure
• Ability to use basic hand tools, drills & air tools

Regularly sit, stand, climb, walk, lift 50lbs., grasp, reach, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.

Shift Schedule

Full-Time 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m (non-exempt)

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: Starting Wage $17.50 per hour
