Qualifications

• 5+ years' troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing medium sized to large, complex commercial heating and cooling systems and associated control systems.
• Knowledgeable in a diverse range of DX (rooftops/split systems), VRF and VAV systems, and Applied (chillers/boilers/pumps/controls) systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills with completion of Technical Trade School or HVAC certifications preferred (HVAC/R, NATE, NCCER, HVAC Excellence etc.) with EPA-608 required.
• Solid customer service skills and communication skills with experience utilizing smart devices (iPhones, iPads etc.).
• Safety-minded and thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Clean MVR with Valid Driver's License and pass drug screen.
• Standard hours 8 to 4:30 Monday-Friday with on-call rotation every 6 to 8 weeks.

Key Service Technician Functions

• Troubleshoot, service and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment/systems.
• Build positive customer relationships and instill confidence.
• Effectively communicate with service manager/dispatcher needed information to quote repairs, update on status, and complete electronic service tickets daily.
• Maintain an organized truck and plan each day as much as possible to maximize productivity.
• Take advantage of training, certifications, and other programs to enhance your capabilities.
• Play a part in our continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and suggestions to improve/streamline processes, procedures, and systems to optimize performance.
