WHO ARE YOU?

As a Nursing Student working as a PSW you will be expected to provide personal care to residents, including safely assisting with the activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including toileting, transferring, bathing, and feeding.

The specific responsibilities and duties vary slightly from home to home, as well as from shift to shift. These expectations will be communicated well before and during the site-specific orientation to each home.

Work Locations: Athens, Brockville, Kingston, Napanee, Amherstview, Picton, Belleville, Trenton, Stirling, Tweed and Northbrook

Job Requirements

  • Proof of education: RPN or RN Student: A letter from the registrar's office confirming enrollment. The letter must indicate you have successfully completed a minimum of one year in your academic program and you are currently enrolled to pursue your studies. Please note, a transcript is not acceptable.
  • CPR (current, not expired) (Online CPR programs/certificates are not acceptable. Level A or C CPR certification. AB level is not acceptable. The expiry date must be on the certification)
  • CPIC/Vulnerable Sector Check - within the last 6 months. Third party CPICs are not acceptable
  • Flu shot OR Tamiflu
  • COVID QR Immunization Information
