Award-winning Pedal Haus Brewery is in search of a Controller to join our fun and energetic team. We currently operate three locations with two new openings slated for this year along with continued growth in 2023 and beyond. This position has growth potential!

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls of the company.
• Oversee all financial accounting entries and general ledger for each operating entity.
• Issue monthly financial statements for each entity and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Help develop budgets and, forecasts
• Report and calculate significant budget variances to management
• Guide financial decisions while monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
• Financial analyses of capital investments, pricing decisions, and involvement in contract egotiations
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements
• Provide support to management and CFO with regards to financial matters
• Support and work closely with General Managers on day-to-day issues impacting financial items.
• Perform general ledger analysis at month-end and make journal entries
• Ensure reconciliation of bank accounts/credit card payment accounts, fixed assets
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are processed and collected in a timely matter
• Evaluate employee benefits yearly for cost analysis
• relationships with outsourced functions - payroll company, bankers, Merchant processors, etc.
• Maintain accounting filing system and record retention
• Provide oversight and support to accounting department staff
• Work with CPA and attorneys on financial matters and year-end close procedures
• File Sales, Use Tax, and TPT taxes
• Other assignments and reporting as assigned by management
• Oversee new employee onboarding, Bi-weekly payroll administration and, quarterly bonus calculations
