Job Description

Pedal Haus Brewery is doubling in size this year and creating spectacular career opportunities. We are in search of highly outgoing and widely energetic leaders that love having a good time!

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager/Chef to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations and execute the curated casual menus for one of our fast paced, high energy locations. The Kitchen Manager/Chef responsibilities include supervising the day to day, back of house operations, including food prep and cooking while maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory, complying with safety and cleanliness standards, and working on the line as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation
  • Supervise kitchen teams to ensure company standards are maintained
  • Supervise food prep and cooking
  • Adhere to food and labor cost goals
  • Work in a hands-on role during peak shifts (Friday-Sunday)
  • Maintain BOH uniform standards at all times
  • Adhere to all local, county, and state regulations for food safety

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef
  • Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
  • High standards for kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Conflict management abilities
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
