We offer a very simple application process to help expedite consideration of your skills and abilities.  Complete the form fields and attach a resume. 

Once your application with resume is received, it is submitted to a department manager for review. If a hiring manager is interested, s/he will reach out to you directly to coordinate an interview be it phone or onsite. During our simple online application process, you will be required to upload a resume in one of the following formats, .jpeg, PDF, Word Doc, or .txt only.

All applications/resumes are kept on file for 6 months. Your application, should you submit, will remain active for 90 days.


Mare Island Dry Dock LLS is a Federal Contractor. We participate in the federal government's E-Verify Program which is is a web-based system that allows enrolled employers to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Mare Island Dry Dock LLC has implemented a policy of drug screening testing of all applicants offered employment. the use of marijuana that impairs work performance is not a protected activity (though legalized in California) it is still a schedule 1 substance under federal law and may disqualify an applicant for employment. The following guidelines will apply to all applicants offered employment:

An applicant is defined as an individual who has not worked and paid as a W2 employee for this company or a rehire after one year has passed since last date worked.

Only applicants as new hires that have accepted a conditional offer of employment will be subject to our drug testing policies. Testing takes place during new hire orientation (first day) via Saliva Scan. Any new hire that fails to pass the saliva scan will be offered an opportunity to continue drug screening via urinalysis at our lab immediately following notice of presumptive positive result. All presumptive positive results will be conducted via "direct observation" at our designated testing site. New hires who refuse to continue to the direct observation lab testing, will be terminated and processed in accordance with state and federal final pay laws.

If you have reason to believe that you will not pass our drug testing during a new hire orientation saliva scan, STOP your application until such time you feel you're able to successfully pass the initial non DOT drug screen.


All new hires will be required to provide satisfactory proof of identity and legal authorization within three business day of start date. Failure to submit such proof within the required time, or failure to comply with pre employment screening requirements may result in offer of employment being rescinded and or employment termination. I hereby voluntarily agree to submit to any lawful drug test requested and conducted by the company which Mare Island Dry Dock LLC, in its sole discretion, to be reasonably necessary to comply with funding contracts and/or to provide a safe working environment.

I understand that failure to timely complete any required or requested drug test, or any positive test may result in failure to timely complete any required or requested drug test, or any positive test may results in rescinding the offer of employment, or once employe3d, lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

I understand that all continued employment with the company, if offered, contingent on a successful completion of pre employments testing/screening (drug, alcohol, background investigations etc). I further understand that any time I am required to submit to a drug test, which includes a test for alcohol, that my continued employment is also contingent upon successful results of such testing.

I hereby indemnify, release and forever discharge and hold Mare Island Dry Dock, LLC and its agents and employees harmless from any and all claims, demands, judgements, and legal fees arising out of, or in connect with a reasonably requested or required drug test, the results of that test(s), or any lawful use of the results of any test(s).
