About the Role

The Product Support Specialist maintains business relationships by serving as an internal advocate and client liaison. The successful candidate will provide escalation support for one of JobTarget's product verticals and aim to solve problems quickly while providing a positive customer experience. The Product Support Specialist will undertake advanced troubleshooting and use deep product knowledge to resolve client issues.


  • Triage and resolve escalated tickets from the support team
  • Summarize complex tickets for escalation to Product/Engineering Teams
  • Prioritize, escalate, and track client tickets while focusing on the client's experience
  • Leverage troubleshooting tools to isolate specific problems
  • Develop deep product knowledge on a wide array of products to differentiate production bugs from other technical issues
  • Serve as a feedback conduit to the product team and identify ways to improve product performance and services
  • Identify opportunities to better empower support teams through training and tools
  • Collaborate with a range of internal team members in accessing and analyzing data to resolve issues

Required Skills

  • You have 2+ years of experience in Customer or Escalations support
  • Excellent communication skills - You are comfortable speaking with customers and decision-makers about meeting their needs and being involved in the sales process.
  • Hard worker, creative problem solver, self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Great attitude and strong organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
  • Ability to understand technical material and translate it to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
