About the Position

We seek a Front-End Developer to join our Stamford, CT office. You, as a Front-End Developer will be a key member of the Software Development team by solving complicated, challenging problems with code and delivering solutions that make a real difference to job seekers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Use markup languages to create user-friendly web pages up to today's standards and best practices
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability
• Get feedback from and build solutions for users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create developer-friendly quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

• Solid software development skills with experience building software developed in (at least one) .NET Framework, Python, Perl, C#, or Java
• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
• Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS, Bootstrap 4+, ES6 JavaScript, AJAX, JSX
• Experience writing web components using Stencil JS or other web component libraries
• Hands on experience with markup languages
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Ability to rapidly learn new software languages, frameworks and APIs quickly
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills: you can fix anything!
