Our company is growing and we're looking to expand our Sales team.


About the Role
The SMB Team Lead will play a key part in developing and coaching a new sales team dedicated to growing JobTarget's small to medium size companies (less than 100 employees). Apart from managing all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, new business development and achieving sale goals, the SMB Team Lead will help train and coach new members on this team.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and develop new and existing ways to research and target SMB accounts.
  • Develop relationships through phone, email, social media, and professional networking
  • Conduct live product demonstrations over the phone
  • Conduct informal coaching/role modeling sessions with SMB sales team members
  • Research and analyze market conditions and identify new opportunities and initiatives
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to optimize revenue potential
  • Participate in interviews for all SMB candidates and assist in training all new hires
  • Attend and/or present at national, regional, and local tradeshows and meetings to generate leads and promote sales.

Required Skills

  • 3 – 5 years' experience in Sales with at least 2 – 4 years in recruiting or recruitment advertising, or a related field.
  • Exceptionally strong contract negotiation and deal closing skills
  • Ability to develop talent, communicate effectively and produce results
  • Effective team building skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of the web industry and related technologies
  • Skilled in Salesforce required
