Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist- Packaging & Graphics role creates purchase orders for packaging materials to support facility production. Coordinate purchase orders to meet required inventory levels and on time delivery. Manage graphics and content of private labels brands across all categories. Assist in onboarding and refresh of new and existing product lines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Procurement Specialist- Packaging & Graphics :
Use ERP and WMS systems to analyze orders and inventory
Manage and organize printed graphic content across all packaging categories
Formulate plans and schedules with vendors to maintain internal target inventory levels
Organize material movement between warehouses and vendors.
Provide timelines and reporting to production and scheduling of inbound materials
Communicate with internal and external points of contact
Report on procurement metrics
Monitor inventory to ensure proper usage
Manage Bill of material changes and transitions
Perform other duties as assigned

8:00 am- 5:00pm

Requirements for the Procurement Specialist- Packaging & Graphics :
3+ years of experience in retail packaging and graphics in a manufacturing setting *REQUIRED*
Manufacturing understanding- materials, formats and processes.
Print and packaging understanding materials, dielines, process.
A focused eye for details and an ability to prioritize as needed.
Self-directed, dependable and results oriented
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel/Outlook)
Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze and interpret inventory and reporting data.
Above average written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external personnel.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar application is a plus.
Experience using metrics to perform analyses
Must have a sense of urgency regarding deadlines and resolving issues.
