JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Design and detailing of glove manufacturing equipment.
  • Generate detail and assembly drawings, bill of materials, engineering datasheets, control narratives, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Assist with startup, debugging and commissioning of new systems.
  • Work with other departments to provide engineering support.
  • Provide engineering and technical support for the layout, design, and evaluation of the equipment to identify potential issues or interference.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop Continuous Improvement Plans.
  • Create, modify, and maintain documentation for processes and equipment.
  • Ensure the design of glove manufacturing technology adheres to standards set forth by American nitrile.
  • Skills & Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • One to five years' experience designing industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to think analytically and work through complex problems.
  • Desired Skills
  • Experience managing capital projects.
  • Experience solidworks and Autocad
  • Experience in developing industrial processing equipment.
  • A willingness to work some overtime and weekends as needed.
