JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks - from installing and inspecting machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensuring AN's production machines remain operational. Will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of the AN facility, including most of its assets. Must be committed to providing our customers a product that is safe and meets specifications, regulations, and statutory requirements.
In this role, you will be expected to have an in depth understanding of the technical and operational aspects of the line or area. This is a hands-on role that will require you to operate equipment, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment. Other responsibilities will include diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment, running tests and completing reports, installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
To ensure success as an AN maintenance technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, a top-class industrial maintenance technician boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.
DAILY & MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e., forklift, crane, etc.)
  • Reports any mechanical problems.
  • Utilizes continuous-improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and required work-safe practices.
  • Communicates and enforces company policies to the AN team, including safety regulations.
  • Responsible for in-process inspection procedures.
  • Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
  • Focused on resources and goals of the AN team
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work well with others
Regular attendance and being on time are a must.
High school diploma or GED.
Industrial Maintenance experience in a related industry.
Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Physical skills - movement, coordination and dexterity.
