Short Description:
This is position will report to the DEQ PMO, planning and coordinating of DEQ's Permitting Transformation Project (PTP) to consolidate several systems into a single digital system comprising of processes associated with the American Rescue Plan Act
Complete Description:
***This is a hybrid position. The PM will need to be local to get onsite at short notice as required for meetings. It's likely the candidate will need to work onsite the first week to get onboarded and familiar with the environment. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT CANDIDATES THAT ARE WILLING TO WORK ONSITE AS REQUIRED.
The PM will administer and lead the work of other project members and other roles supporting process improvement and digital transformation. etc. and manage team activities to ensure the best use of time and resources to meet the program's objectives and deliverables. The PTP is complex with currently disparate processes. The new solution includes multiple technologies. The PTP Project Manager will facilitate significant business process reengineering efforts and the migration of several disparate applications and databases into a single system and integrated data architectures. The PTP Project Manager will report on progress, deliver briefings, oversee schedule development, and interact with division and IT staff at all levels.

- Demonstrated experience with developing, managing, and/or monitoring the integrated master schedule, using project management software Required 5 Years
- Demonstrated experience overseeing a risk and/or mitigation plan advocating for project alternatives., Required 5 Years
Ability to advocate project alternatives in line with enterprise standards; and use lessons learned from projects to develop best practices for future Required
