Job Description

Reporting to the site General Manager (GM), the Site Security Specialist is responsible for overall site protection and material safeguarding.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Control access to the property and secure facility and grounds as directed

• Enforce company standards and policies

• Monitor for potential security issues and risk vulnerabilities

• Investigate and report security incidents

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of trailers/containers, employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises

• Ensure accuracy of documentation to prevent theft or damage of property

• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

• Provide assistance to employees, truck drivers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity

Additional Duties:

• Assist with yard management inventories as needed
