Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for Assistant Managers to join our GROWING team in Kentucky and Indiana, including our NEWEST COMING SOON in Shelbyville, KY!

Core Responsibilities of a Manager:
- Pro-actively staffing and leading a crew of 15-20 people
- Developing others for career growth
- Ensuring the restaurant is a best-in-class operation
- Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service
- Lead employee training
- Maintaining a clean and organized restaurant
- Effective schedule writing, inventory and food order management
- Able to fill in for the General Manager in their absence

Job Requirements
Job Requirement include but not limited to:
- Open availability with a minimum committent of 45 hours a week-shifts of varying times and varying lengths
- Must be available/willing to work evenings, holidays, and weekends- shifts begin as early as 6 a.m., & end as late as 12 a.m.
- Supervise and complete all opening and closing duties/functions in the store
- Can train, execute, and supervise all cash handling responsibilities
- Must meet the minimal criteria in background check
- Must successfully complete in-house management training program
- Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance
- High School degree or equivalent
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- Fundamental math and computer skills
- Must maintain state food safety requirements
- Participate and lead shift in sales, food, and labor cost controls
- Can participate in and complete effective scheduling
- Participate in recruiting and hiring for store, including first round interviews
- Leads and manages the team training program
- Provides excellent customer service and leads by example
- Repetitive motion is required
- Ability to train and use the meat slicer
