Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Performs repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production and sanitation operations.
· Helps maintain preventive maintenance program in conjunction with production.
· Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and communicates effectively with equipment vendors, service technicians, fabricators, and contractors as needed.
· Follows all pre- and post- operating procedures provided by maintenance manager.
· Documents timely completion of work orders.
· Inspects operating equipment for conformance with operational standards.
· Coordinates with production and quality assurance on equipment and process issues.
· Effectively facilitates lock out tag out procedures.
· Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
· Education/Experience – one year of related experience or training.
· Language – ability to communicate effectively.
· Computer Skills – competency in MS Office applications.
· Supervisory Responsibility – no supervisory responsibilities.
· Physical Demands – employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
· Climate – extreme cold to extreme heat (non-weather).
· Noise – moderate.
