Job Responsibilities

The Surgical Nurse will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Assisting surgeons during operations and ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.

• Preparing the operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.

• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and providing post-operative care and instructions.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educating patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery processes.

• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and charts.

• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
