About the job:
The Nurse is a member of the collaborative team and assists in ensuring the quality care of all residents. The position requires an understanding of a commitment to, the principle and values of the community. This position requires creativity, good time management skills, flexibility and a good knowledge base of residents that may have complex medical needs. The position requires strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide health service training to other employees. The LPN must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and always use critical thinking skills along with good nursing judgement. We are currently offering up to $10,000 in retention bonuses for experienced nursing home nurses. The shift is 6pm to 6:30 am, with a shift differential for night shift nurses of $3 for nights and $4 for the weekend. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 24 hours, or 2 shifts per month, and one shift must be a weekend shift.

Job Requirements
- Current State of Illinois RN/LPN license is required
- CPR/AED certification is required, or must be willing to obtain upon hire
- Must be compassionate, caring, and patient with the elderly resident population
- Must be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays
- PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 24 hours, or 2 shifts per month, and one shift must be a weekend shift.
