Pay: $35,000.00 - $175,000.00+ per year

Automotive Mechanic/Diesel Technician Requirements: 

  • Valid certification as an Automotive Diesel Technician (e.g., ASE certification) 
  • Able to diagnose and repair diesel engine systems using diagnostic tools and equipment 
  • Team player/guide Jr. Technicians or apprentices as needed 
  • Estimates cost of repairs. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel engines and systems. 
  • 5 years of experience working at a dealership 
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. 
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in diesel engine repair and diagnostics 
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine components and repair techniques. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. 
  • Experience with electronic engine management systems. 
  • Skilled in performing routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on diesel vehicles. 
  • Great organizational skills and able to maintain repair records 
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in an automotive repair environment. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration. 
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy parts and equipment. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
