Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Wholesale Specialist to join our growing service department!

**LARGEST GENERAL MOTORS PARTS DISTRIBUTOR IN VIRGINIA...$3,000,000 in PARTS INVENTORY**

As a Parts Wholesale Counter Specialist, you will be responsible for providing customers with the BEST possible advice on car parts and accessories by using your knowledge of auto parts and how they work together to solve maintenance problems.

Pay Range: $75,000 per year earning potential (based on job performance).

Schedule: Full Time, 5-day work week, rotating Saturdays.

Offering up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified Automotive Parts Wholesale candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assess their needs for car parts.
  • Answer customers’ questions about product features, pricing and availability.
  • Research and advise customers on car parts, repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist customers in selecting the best car parts for their vehicle.
  • Receive and process orders for car parts.
  • Dispense parts to the service department and body shop.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Provide product information and quotes to customers.
  • Monitor stock levels and order new parts as needed.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries.
  • Order out-of-stock parts requested by customers.
  • Assist in taking inventory.
  • Meet departmental production and profitability goals.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above dealership standards.
  • Answer telephone promptly and consistent with dealership guidelines.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • College Degree, High School Diploma, GED.
  • Desired Work Experience: 5 years of direct Auto Parts Wholesale Counter experience preferred (Chevrolet or similar dealership).
