Parts Clerk Job Description:

  • Driving an integral role in the customer experience, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership, as well as ensuring accurate and timely shipping of all parts orders. You will also be responsible for managing the inventory of parts, inspecting incoming parts for quality control, and ensuring that all parts orders are accurate and complete.

  • Location: Hendrick Honda (Concord, NC).

  • Schedule: Full Time, morning shifts between 6:00am-3:00pm Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday.

  • ?Pay Range: $17 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and check parts shipments for accuracy against invoices and packing slips.

  • Unpack, inspect, and log incoming parts shipments.

  • Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves with incoming parts.

  • Load and unload parts from delivery vehicles and move parts to appropriate warehouse storage areas.

  • Prepare and inspect orders for accuracy prior to shipment.

  • Manage shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, and proof of delivery.

  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.

  • Participate in required training.

  • Enter data into a computer system to track parts shipments.

  • Maintain inventory records and run reports as needed.

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of parts trucks.

  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.

  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing and copying documents.

  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.

  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.

  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values.

  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.

  • Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of automotive parts and related terminology.

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to operate basic office equipment (phones, computers, etc.).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move heavy objects for extended periods of time.

  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to work in a safe and professional manner.
