Job Description

NEW OPPORTUNITY!!  Rick Hendrick Toyota in Sandy Springs, GA is looking for an Automotive Shop Foreman to join our busy service team!

As Shop Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our busy service department. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Your strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the success of the shop and the satisfaction of our customers!
*Toyota experience REQUIRED - minimum 5yrs
*Master Diagnostic Technician certification preferred

Job Summary:  Responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Examines customer vehicles.
  • Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Estimates cost of repairs.
  • Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Documents services performed.
  • Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
  • Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
  • Requests necessary parts.
  • Assigns work to technicians and follows up on work in progress
  • Assists and supervises technicians on the jobs
  • Examines customer vehicles
  • Estimates cost of repairs
  • Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Documents services performed
  • Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
  • Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system    
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned
