BDC Representative Job Description:
  • Business Development Representatives (BDC) are trained to engage with customers through phone, email, and text to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and deliver an EXCEPTIONAL customer experience. They work closely with various departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.     Job Responsibilities:
    • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and text in a timely manner.
    • Schedule customer appointments primarily with dealership service departments.
    • Follow up with customers to confirm appointments, provide appointment reminders, and answer any additional questions.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate any customer concerns to the appropriate department.
    • Assist in creating and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Maintain records of customer interactions.
    • Collaborate with dealership staff to identify and resolve customer issues.
    • Provide feedback to management to improve customer service strategies.
    • Track and update customer records in the dealership's database.
    • Handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Post scheduled appointments on appointment board in the Business Development Center.
    • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
    • Engage in business development.
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
    • Continuously improve through feedback.
    • Participates in required training.
    • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
    • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
    • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
    • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
    • Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Automotive service experience preferred.
    • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
