Lot Attendant Job Description:
  • Lot Attendants are responsible for ensuring that our dealership's lot is kept neat and orderly, maintaining the condition of vehicles so they look their BEST, as well as running errands for the dealership.     Job Responsibilities:
    • Monitors the dealership's lot to ensure that all vehicles are secure and safe.
    • Monitors the lot to ensure that no unauthorized vehicles are present.
    • Restocks the lot with new and used cars as needed.
    • Ensures that the lot is neat and tidy at all times.
    • Moves vehicles around the lot to create space as needed.
    • Ensures that all vehicles have the required documentation and tags.
    • Performs basic maintenance duties such as checking tire pressure, fluids, and lights.
    • Performs minor cleaning duties such as washing windows and vacuuming interiors.
    • Maintains accurate records of vehicle inventory.
    • Assists with deliveries and pickups of vehicles from other lots and locations.
    • Assists with vehicle shows, special events, and other marketing efforts.
    • Runs various errands for the dealership.
    • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
    • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
    • Participates in required training.
    • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
    • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
    • Demonstrates the Company's Core Values.
    • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
    • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Experience in dealership procedures preferred.
    • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.


    Essential Skills:
    • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to follow safety protocols.
    • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
