Job Description:

  • As a BDC Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the business development team, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and preparing documents. Additionally, you will be involved in research projects and other activities to support the team’s business development efforts. This role offers a rewarding and stimulating office environment in which to grow and develop your skillset!

  • Location: Hendrick Business Development Center - HIC (Charlotte, NC).

  • Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday.

  • Pay Range: $17 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, positive, and happy environment.

  • Develop and maintain administrative processes to support the business development team.

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and events.

  • Prepare and distribute relevant documents to internal and external parties.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and redirect to the appropriate staff members.

  • Monitor and respond to messages, emails, and other correspondence.

  • Develop and maintain filing systems for all business development related activities.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials.

  • Support the development of business plans and strategies.

  • Manage and update customer databases.

  • Liaise with other departments and personnel.

  • Track and report on KPIs and other data related to business development activities.

  • Provide administrative support and assist with errands for the business development team.

  • Process the mail and prepare overnight deliveries.

  • Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.

  • Participate in required training and develop skills to maximize effectiveness and potential.

  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.

  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.

  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience with telephone systems.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly.
