Summary: The Website Performance Manager plays a key role in our success by creating and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and accessible websites for our customers. The role will be the subject matter expert for the overall performance/conversion on all Hendrick Automotive Group websites utilizing data from disparate data sources to develop and implement best practices across the group.

Supervisory Responsibilities: While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities in the immediacy, the opportunity to grow into that is available. Coaching and mentoring teammates will be required and is a key indicator for future career growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties can be assigned.

  • This role is a teammate in the Hendrick Automotive Group Marketing Department and serves as the subject matter expert for all website’s performance, UX, and alignment to Hendrick Automotive Group website standards.
  • Works closely with Hendrick Automotive Group Marketing team and SAM Team to understand the goals and business needs for all assigned dealerships and Hendrick Automotive Group as a whole and application to our websites.
  • Is the subject matter expert for the performance and success of all dealership and group-level websites. KPIs are measured and monitored regularly so that we can be sure performance is moving in the right direction at the right speed
  • Serves as the day-to-day website support contact for our SAMs and providers.
  • Responsible for compliance with OEM standards, state and federal legal, and company brand standards.
  • Monitor website performance weekly, identify improvement opportunities, and effectively communicate recommendations to influence the required changes.
  • Develop and outline projects specifications for new website builds and/or migrations (utilizing UX best practices)
  • Organize, manage, and communicate project schedules to internal team members.
  • Perform quality testing for website builds and launches, evaluating performance, functionality, UX, etc.
  • Ensure all web standards are being held and quickly correct them if they aren’t.
  • Ensure all websites are mobile-friendly, accessible, and meet the highest standards of UX.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve website performance
  • Use organization, communication, and troubleshooting skills to balance multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Willingness to collaborate with teammates to share best practices and performance data
  • Be a problem solver and demonstrate a willingness to help teammates find solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate and adjust your communication style as needed to influence decisions through education and data-driven results
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and event/conversion tracking is highly desired.#cb
