Central Garden & Pet Company is searching for a Senior Manager of Supply Chain, based in Atlanta, Georgia, to support the Supply Chain Simplification strategy in alignment with the Business Unit strategy. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations - Grass Seed & Controls.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Support implementation of the Supply Chain Simplification Strategy

• Support implementation of BU Strategy

• Liaison with Corporate Supply Chain and Information Systems (IS) on implementation of the Source to Pay (S2P) technology.

• Liaison with Corporate Supply Chain on implementation and ongoing maintenance of Material & FG Specifications.

• Liaison with Corporate Supply Chain on development and implementation of SKU simplification plans.

• Lead the development, implementation and tracking of Net Productivity plans and project management to deliver Net Pro outcome (including leveraging VA/VE tools).

• Liaison with R&D and commercial team on losses in the innovation process.

Other responsibilities as assigned by Operations leadership.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 10 years successful operations & supply chain experience.

• The ability to handle multiple priorities and be able to balance those as needed.

• Experience effectively managing multiple projects from cradle to grave.

• Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and motivate teams to meet business needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Financial business acumen.

• LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.

• SAP experience required.
