Human Resources Hiring Coordinator
The Human Resources Hiring Coordinator is an integral member of our HR team and will aid and facilitate human resources processes for Bell Nursery. The Hiring Coordinator will have administrative responsibilities in the areas of compliance, customer service, recruiting, reporting and other functions necessary to support the HR Department initiatives.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Assist in the recruiting process by partnering with the HR Generalist in talent acquisition process
- Successfully maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate data
- Ensure compliance in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Promote a positive culture and employee engagement
- Maintain open communication with managers, supervisors, and all employees
- As a representative of the HR Team, maintain a high level of professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist HR Generalists in recruiting with duties such as advertising/job posting needs, telephone screenings, interview scheduling, etc.
- Administration of the HRIS data changes to maintain accurate HR records
- Maintain all tracking and processing of pre-employment screenings
- Administer tracking and maintenance of on-line Learning System (LMS)
- Upload garnishments and child support orders
- Process IT requests and termination notifications
- Process business card orders
- Completion of employment verification requests
- Respond to unemployment claims
- Maintain I-9 files to ensure federal compliance in completion and retention
- Facilitate eVerify process to ensure state required compliance
- Process and distribution of Monthly/Weekly reporting
- Order Bell Nursery apparel in coordination with HR Generalists for regions’ needs
- Assist with H2A program as needed
- Production of training materials/manuals to support development activities
- Prepare correspondence as requested
- Assist in preparation for meetings
- Complete necessary clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
- Associate degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent experience including 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paycom experience a plus), Outlook and Excel required. Ability to learn new technology.
- Experience in maintaining critical Human Resources administrative functions.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels and maintain professionalism.
- Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- Ability to function well in a fast paced and at times under stressful circumstances to meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and efficient worker skilled at multi-tasking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with confidential data.
