Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Supply Chain Finance and Analytics Manager to join our Corporate Finance team, supporting our net productivity and procurement teams. This is a remote with travel or hybrid role, with preference to candidates in the metro areas near our offices in Schaumburg, IL or Atlanta, GA.
The Finance Manager for Supply Chain Net Productivity and Procurement will be a pivotal leader within our supply chain finance team, playing a crucial role in supporting the reporting of the cost and simplification initiatives within our supply chain operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance and collaborating closely with the Vice President of Net Productivity, this role encompasses responsibilities in supply chain finance, cost and simplification program support, FP&A, net productivity analytics and reporting, and strategic business partnering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supply Chain FP&A:
o Develop streamlined and cohesive reporting structure for data across multiple BU’s and ERPs.
o Provide detailed financial analysis and insights for the supply chain team, including variance analysis, cost tracking, and forecasting.
o Support the development of the annual budget and periodic financial reviews.
o Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Business Partnering:
o Act as the primary financial business partner to the VP of Net Productivity and Procurement, providing financial insights and analysis to drive decision-making.
o Collaborate with supply chain and business unit leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
o Present financial information and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
o Contribute reports and analysis for established meeting cycles.
• Supply Chain Cost and Simplification Program:
o Lead financial analysis and reporting to facilitate the ongoing cost and simplification initiatives within the supply chain.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with supply chain optimization efforts.
o Develop and implement financial models to assess and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Net Productivity Calculations (Tracking of cost savings programs):
o Work closely with the VP of Net Productivity and Procurement to calculate, monitor, and report on net productivity metrics.
o Assist in the identification of opportunities for productivity improvements across the supply chain.
o Prepare financial reports and recommendations related to productivity initiatives.

• Effective communication of financial and data analysis to support business decisions.
• Ability to effectively support and drive supply chain cost and simplification initiatives.
• Proficiency in managing financial aspects of supply chain operations, including FP&A and net productivity calculations.
• Successful collaboration with the VP of Net Productivity and Procurement, resulting in informed decision-making and improved productivity metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• 8+ years proven experience in finance and financial analysis, previous management experience desired.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau/Business Objects, Power Pivot/Power Query, and BOBJ or similar is required.
• Experience in integrating data from disparate sources to create cohesive and insightful reports.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or procurement finance a plus
• Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial and data analysis clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%
