Our Pet Segment is seeking a Senior Replenishment & Financial Planning Manager to join the Walmart Business Development Team based in Bentonville, AR. The role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Business Operations for the Walmart account, with a strong dotted reporting relationship with the VP of Sales, Walmart for the Pet Segment.

The Senior Replenishment & Financial Planning Manager will own key customer supply chain, replenishment, sales/merchant, and demand planning responsibilities that position the company to deliver best in class KPI and sales metrics. In addition, this role will drive key operational, planning and sales strategies within our Walmart categories to align with the customer & internal business units in the following ways - Create mutual win/win goals and optimal processes that achieve high forecast accuracies, high in-stock/mutual inventory metrics, best in class OTIF/SQEP processes, and roadmaps to achieve the sales objectives.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Walmart’s Merchant & Replenishment Team(s) to assure mutual buy-in for seasonal strategies that drive topline sales and profit

Analyze in-season performance and provide recommend actions to drive sales via gap analysis, settings, or policies

• As subject matter expert in customer supply chain and replenishment, develop joint execution plans that coordinate actions with key stakeholders: business develop managers (BDMs), business units (BUs), divisional S&OP managers, and Walmart (customer) Merchant, Replenishment & Supply Chain Teams

• Maximize in-stock & inventory levels while meeting the product turns expectations

• Review GTN (Gross to Net) budget scorecards and collaborate with the BUs on ways to achieve GTN goals

• Responsible for direct report(s), including annual evaluations and performance feedback

• Utilize data to provide adhoc analytical support to drive key revenue programs and sales/replenishment recommendations

• Develop sales strategies with the BDMs, programs and plans for existing and potential business with Walmart & Sam’s Club.

• Develop annual quota, profit plan and sales action plan and monitor actual results vs. plan throughout the year, making adjustments when appropriate. Conduct business reviews with accounts and present them as appropriate to management

• Deliver exceptional weekly reporting that highlights actions and collaborative in-season solutions (30/60/90)

• Communicate and research PO on-time in-full (OTIF) & SQEP issues that results in optimized lane, lead time, and item/ship point constraints.

• Function as a key BU and S&OP enabler by providing timely and accurate customer forecasts, process improvement and replenishment information back into our corporate integrative planning & continuous improvement processes

• Balance customer and divisional (BU) focus on business issues (i.e., pricing, P&L, product supply, forecasting, inventory decisions)

Champion innovative ideas and solutions for continuous & margin improvement within the team/BUs and the customer

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science is preferred

• Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in merchandising/buying/planning, replenishment, supply chain, sales, sales forecasting and/or inventory management

• Supervising associates, working on cross-functional teams or projects

• Deep Understanding of Walmart’s systems & processes

• Strong Retail Link skills and business acumen

• Proficient in SAP, Tableau is a plus

• Strong communication skills both oral and written to achieve mutual buy-in & aligned strategies

• High Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint to drive story telling backed by overall analytical mindset

• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that enable & develop relationships across all stakeholders

Office based working conditions

Requires the willingness and ability to travel 5% of the time for customer meetings, industry events and business unit visits.
