We are searching for an experienced Mulch Machine Operator for our Greenfield, Missouri location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Start machine, adjust as necessary and perform necessary troubleshooting
• Perform efficient machine set-up
• Maintain communication with line associates and during shift change
• Train new and existing line personnel and backups
• Perform inspection of bags for quality
• Complete paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Understand and know the goals and objectives of the department
• Comply with all safety rules and company policies
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Responsible for reporting any issues to authorized personnel for correction.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to analyze problem(s), troubleshoot and provide successful solution(s)
• Must have the ability to lift-up to 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to bend, twist, turn and climb
• Possess solid organizational skills
• Be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Work temperatures may vary due to outside temperatures.
• Work environment may be dusty.
