ORDER ENTRY SPECIALIST

Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, the number one supplier of top-quality flower seeds and non-GMO vegetable seeds for the gardening industry, has an opening for Order Entry in our Norton, MA facility. This is a Non-exempt, full-time position. This is an entry level position which is perfect for those who are looking to start a career, eager to learn and grow with a company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and enter incoming orders with accuracy
• Schedule truck appointments
• Communicate with Ohio Team on daily shipments
• Process Authorizations on orders
• Phone calls – customer service calls and AR collection calls
• Issue return credits towards customer invoice
• General office duties including filing, data entry, mail sorting and distribution
• Pick seed packet orders in the warehouse
• Responsible for truck shipments to ship on time and follow thru
• Mail Slot ID cards to customers thru USPS Mail
• Work on special projects that maybe given thru out the shipping/return season
• Retrieve return forms from FedEx Ground shipments
• Create FedEx Ground Labels for shipping
• Provides support in any other related area when needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Urgency and pride to get the job done in timely manner
• Flexibility and able to adapt to changes in business
• Entry level computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Accuracy and Speed in entering orders
• Punctual and dependable
• Friendly and courteous on the telephone
