ROLE SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for selecting, palletizing, wrapping, and loading products, per customer request, in an accurate, timely and damage-free manner. Additionally, responsible for assisting with Company vehicle movement and maintaining proper paperwork in each truck.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Ensure products are shipped according to customer requirements, accurate, clean, neat, and damage-free.
  • Handle all products with care to ensure products are not damaged.
  • Load Company vehicles with orders to be delivered the next day, ensuring loads are stable, damage-free and loaded in a manner that complies with maximum truck axle weights.
  • Place company vehicles in proper doors as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Work with Transportation Manager to ensure pickup and delivery of company vehicles for evening maintenance or other service needs.
  • Place and maintain proper paperwork, including fuel trip record and inspection books in each Company vehicle, required by the Company and The Department of Transportation.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Assist co-workers with order selecting, receiving, stocking or other activities when own work has been completed or as required by management.


IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including electric walk-rider, forklift ladders and wrapping machine.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Flexible to changing customer or operational demands and able to work overtime on short notice. Position requires working until the job is complete.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Requires near/far/depth vision to transfer materials and to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • CDL – Class B, a plus.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous forklift certification is a plus.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and orderly warehouse.


WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Transfer product weighing from 50-100 lbs. from the pallet to the handcart.
  • Transfers palled jack across the warehouse.
  • to pick an order.
  • Requires the ability to tolerate accessing the floor height to transfer supplies.
  • Tolerates standing on concrete. Requires tolerance of standing posture up to 3 hours continuously, for up to 8 hours per 10-hour shift.
  • Must tolerate working environment with outside temperatures, when loading and unloading the trucks.
  • Use of warehouse equipment including pallet-jacks, walk-riders, forklifts, etc.
  • We work until the job is complete. Full-time employees are expected to work necessary overtime as required.

Starting Wages

3 rd Shift: Start time is 9pm, Sunday – Thursday, $18.00-$20.00+ per hour
