Our Garden Distribution segment is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in our Grand Prairie, TX office. This position will provide administrative support to the Distribution team and be responsible for maintaining inventory. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the right candidate will manage cycle counts, placement of inbound inventory, updates to SAP, and other logistics functions as assigned. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist the Receiving, to identify product placement in accordance with our policy
• Using SAP data system, arrange warehouse product in a more efficient picking pattern
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations
• Assist in maintaining regulatory records and practices for state federal and local agencies
• Fill in for other leads or managers when and where needed as needed
• Responsible for maintaining and upkeep on all material handling equipment to the prescribed standards
• Support and enforce Safety program
• Support and enforce Sanitation program

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year related warehouse experience
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
• Proven strong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel - a must SAP is a plus
• Ability to read and write legibly in English, carry out oral instructions in English, count and do basic math
• RF scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Special projects as requested.
• Must be able to solve problems and handle complex customer issues.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Office environment with some warehouse presence, working in a sedentary position with frequent use of PC and phone.
