The Packaging Production Supervisor is responsible for observing machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to company standards and are prepared for distribution.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

• Ensure the team is following all safety protocols and wearing PPE.
• Directs and mentors workforce to accomplish company objectives and goals.
• Documents and reports production and personnel data as required, holding the team accountable for their actions and issue disciplinary action as needed.
• Advise Maintenance department of material and equipment concerns to avoid downtime and maintain productivity.
• Ensure all employees follow company designated cGMPs/ HACCP guidelines/ maintain and perform all tasks with a mindset of physical/ food safety.
• Understand and follow daily production schedule and manage labor utilization as needed.
• Work alongside inventory teams to clear up any variances/ posting errors to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a packaging supervisor or a similar management position.
• Strong working knowledge of packaging operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
