The Injection Mold Technician is responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including start-up, shut down and troubleshooting of the injection molding processes and related equipment. The technician will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made to the equipment, so that the processes run efficiently.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

• Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and workflow.
• Working with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements and are produced in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
• Generating documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.
• Providing molded components in a timely manner in order to ensure production
• Ensures all manufacturing safety standards are always followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in injection molding or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
