Overview: Washington Courthouse, Ohio based Fiber-Tech Industries is a family-owned company that produces large scale custom designed and cut Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Panels (commonly known as FRP) at two manufacturing plants; WCH, Ohio and Spokane, Washington. Fiber-Tech is one of the largest producers of FRP panels in North America.

Position Summary: The purchasing and materials manager has two roles.

·       As purchasing manager, the person will develop an understanding of our raw material needs, develop, and maintain a strong working relationship with at least two suppliers, and negotiate price and supply for adequate coverage of all raw material needs, determine reorder points, and place and manage purchase orders to ensure continuation of production.

·       As a materials manager, the person in role will define a system for better tracking and management of inventory, oversee receiving functions related to materials and incoming supplies, manage storage of materials and supervises warehouse staff.
