Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care practice

Full-Time  

Exempt

$90,000 - $130,000 annually

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Benefits:

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate health care services to patients and their families
  • Promote maintenance of health, prevention of illness and stability
  • Provide care during acute and chronic phases of illness
  • Guide and counsel individuals and families
  • Referral patients to other health care providers as appropriate
  • Record and update patient EMR in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards and procedures

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

  • Current, certified NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license  
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a family practice or Urgent Care setting is desired (not required)
  • Previous experience working with Medent (EMR) is a plus  
  • Excellent working knowledge of chronic disease states and possess critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
