The program creates an exciting learning environment that combines experiential work with didactic learning. New faculty will enter a community committed to discussion and forward-looking thought in the field of community and public mental health. For ten years the program has supported a successful clinic where students earn practicum credits while doing and learning community-oriented approaches to psychotherapy under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
