An Industrial Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the machinery used in the production of making Nitrile gloves.
 
Every industrial machine requires an operator to interact with it to set parameters, adjust parameters, perform initial set up, ensure quality standards are adhered to. www.americannitrile.com
 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for:
  • setting up and adjusting machines
  • monitoring production processes
  • performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • responsible for ensuring that the machinery is operating in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Report on scrap at the end of each shift for the machines that are running.
 
Must be committed to providing our customers with a product that is safe and meets specifications, regulations, and statutory requirements.
 
This is a hands-on role that will require you to operate equipment, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.
 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years relevant machine operating experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, document and maintain records as required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Regular attendance and being on time are a must.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Concentration Skills
  • Physical skills like movement, coordination, and dexterity.
  • Able to cope with continuous time sensitive work environment.
  • Good hand eye coordination and motor skills.
  • Good vision with or without glasses or vision correction
  • Be able to work standing - for 45+ minutes at a time.
  • Dress and safety requirements:
    • Good hygiene standards. Frequent hand washing. Covering of all open body hair.
    • No loose or hanging clothing or jewelry. Legs must be covered. Work pants or jeans preferred.
    • Must wear hairnets, beard covers, and disposable gloves while in packing area.
    • Work in noisy environment - ear protection required.
    • Safety shoes/boots required.
