Job Description
About the Position
The Production Scheduler schedules corrugator operations along with the Converting Scheduler and oversees all production activity with sales, sales service, production, and shipping departments to ensure all customer orders are handled properly. This is an on-site position.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
· Schedule corrugator in a way that is stable, reliable, and efficient to provide stability to the crews, shipping and sales service personnel in a way that still ensures customer satisfaction.
· Maintain roll stock inventory
· Place timely orders efficiently for our plant while maintaining contractual obligations with vendors.
· Analyze data make sure we order the right widths & keep butts to a minimum
· Ensure paper is delivered, accounted for, and comes in with no defects
· Works with Converting Scheduler to ensure all orders are scheduled on a “pull” system to produce exactly and only what we need to keep converting machines running and ship to our customers.
· Produce end of month reports
· Communicate constantly with sales, customer service, and management any paper related issues.
· Stay connected with maintenance on a daily basis to ensure the care of corrugator is given its due attention.

Job Requirements
Skills & Experience We Want
· High school diploma or GED
· 3-5 years related experience preferably in the corrugated industry
· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft products (especially Excel), KIWI
· Strong analytical and math skills
