WHO WE ARE:

Weber Display & Packaging is a local, family-owned manufacturing company, with 128 years in the industry. We take pride in providing quality corrugated products to our customers and in our employees who make it possible. We're looking for Machine Operators to join our fast-paced, growing manufacturing plant in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. They will operate plant equipment and machinery involved in the production and conversion of corrugated material into finished products.

  • Available to work 1st(7am-3pm), 2nd(3pm-11pm), and 3rd(11pm-7am) shifts

  • Able to learn how to operate our computer-controlled machines
  • Comfortable doing basic math calculations including fractions and decimals
  • Willing to consent to a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Willing to work overtime as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position requires standing for the duration of the work shift, usually up to 8 hours, occasionally up to 10 hours or longer
  • Ability to walk from one end of the machine to the other frequently and to walk to other parts of the facility to retrieve supplies
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 20 pounds continuously (100-150 times per hour for up to 5-6 hours per shift). Some lifting may be to chest level or overhead periodically.
