Job Description

Position Summary

 

The Service Coordinator / Customer Service provides administrative support to the Service Department to ensure that all service-related requests proceed smoothly and in a timely manner.  The Service Coordinator / Customer Service will assist with maintaining the Service Phone, Email, Scheduling, and dispatching. This Position will also prepare support documentation and verify all Site Contacts and Billing information so that we may provide adequate and accurate customer support.

 

Essential Functions and Duties

 

       Create, maintain, and enter information into the business productivity software.

       Maintain Service Job’s Schedule.

       Schedule and confirm Service appointments with customers and dispatch technicians accordingly.

       Assist with maintaining scheduling and technician on-call calendars.

       Monitor pending, progress, and completed jobs.

       Assist with Parts Order jobs.

       Provide backup support by answering telephone calls and providing customer support.

       Assist with monitoring service email account.

 

Other Functions and Duties

 

       Conduct searches to find needed information.

       Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.

       Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

 

       High School diploma or equivalent

       1+ years of experience scheduling and/or dispatching

       Become and remain proficient in all computer programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position including word processing, simple accounting, database management, spreadsheets, email, and internet.

       Clarity of vision at varying distances to read, review, enter data, and ensure accuracy of records.

       Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in a clear manner.

       Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of standard office equipment.
